RiRi AQUAzip™ Water-Resistant Zippers
Every component of RiRi's AQUAzip has been engineered and tested to provide optimal strength and weather protection. First, a water-resistant film is laminated to the zipper tape. Then each tooth is bonded directly to the zipper tape with every half tooth offset to create a “shingle effect” that locks out wind and water. The zipper slider rides right on the teeth for smoother operation and increased durability.

A concept first introduced to snowboarding over ten years ago, Burton’s Active Lining Systems [ALS™] are engineered to work with your body by utilizing different materials in different zones to provide the perfect amount of breathability, warmth, mobility, and comfort. For example, a closed-cell mesh in the core provides warmth and comfort while a micro cell mesh in the sides promotes breathability and provides moisture-wicking properties. In high-heat areas like your armpits, an open, macro cell mesh provides maximum ventilation so you don’t swamp out. Select styles utilize earth-friendly ALS Linings featuring recycled, eco-conscious lining materials to maximize performance while minimizing the impact on Mother Earth.
